first year!gojo who avoided you for the longest time when he first came to jujutsu high.
first year!gojo who would not-so-discreetly straight up stare steal glances at you
first year!gojo who would stutter and stumble over his words whenever you tried to talk to him. it was to be expected, seeing as he hadn't been allowed to interact with anyone outside of his clan before.
first year!gojo who tried so hard to flirt with you. his only help were two very amused classmates.
“Are you…uh..are you a domain expansion?” he asked, eyes wide and hopeful.
You stared at him. “What?”
He cleared his throat. “Because…being around you makes me feel like I accidentally activated mine…or something like that,” his voice lowered with each word.
Geto was choking on his drink in the background. Shoko was muttering something about losing brain cells.
first year!gojo who had awkwardly begged yaga to assign you both missions together. yaga was too done with everything to refuse.
first year!gojo who would save you from a curse and then trip over his own feet after. it was not as charming as it seemed.
first year!gojo who learned after 13 failed attempts that perhaps suguru wasn't the best dating coach and turned to google instead.
which is why you found him staring at a vending machine with the intensity of a man pondering the universe.
“What are you doing?” you asked.
He turned dramatically, eyes wide and eyebrows dampened with sweat as if he got caught in the act of a crime.
“I was..uh.. deciding what snack to get. For you. For… romantic purposes.”
You blinked. “For me? Why? I don't get it?” Because teenagers were very oblivious back in 2013 or whenever this happened.
“I read online that the fastest way to a woman's heart is through her stomach. Or was it a man's heart?”
first year!gojo who didn't really look you in the eye for two weeks after that.
eventually, because first year!gojo was so weird around you, you had to ask,
“Why are you so weird around me?”
He opened his mouth. Then closed it. Then did it again.
His cheeks turned pink. “B-Because you're like… cool. And pretty. And fun. And when I talk to you, my brain turns into Windows XP error noises.”
You smiled, because this was W rizz back then. “...That's actually kinda cute,” you muttered.
Gojo.exe stopped working. Geto kept shouting at Shoko for system reboots.
first year!gojo was a boy who didn't know the true extent of his cursed technique, but was still just as deadly because of his access to wifi and confidence.

why I don't use AI for school work, and I don't think you should either
I have been staunchly against using AI for as long as ChatGPT has been a regularly used tool, not necessarily for moral reasons but for arrogant ones. I firmly beleive that I can write a better essay then a malfunctioning robot. My teacher used it to generate photos of scrabble tiles for a wall display, and despite the prompt spelling the words exactly correctly, ChatGPT spelt them wrong. Why would you want to trust a clearly flawed machine with your grades? However recently the sheer amount of people I see at school using AI and supporting the use of AI is so horrifying to me I felt it was something I needed to talk about
Using ChatGPT prevents you from learning properly. Doing things quickly does not equate to doing them well. I understand how difficult it can be to schedule and make time for everything, but using ChatGPT is just like getting someone else to do your work for you. You will not learn! (Most) teachers are not setting difficult homework for the sole purpose of making things hard for you, they set the work to help you learn and to grow resilience.
People are using it for completely stupid tasks, that they could perform far easier without it. For our English Portfolio Essays the SQA requires us to have a certain amount of sources and so many people asked ChatGPT to find them articles. It was ridiculous and slightly horrifying. Have we lost the ability to simply look things up for ourselves? Or to, god forbid, read a real book? Do not use ChatGPT for tasks that could be performed to a higher level if you simply did them yourself! My mother has a friend who marks Advanced Higher Biology Assignments for the SQA, she recently marked one that had 30 references, none of which were right! ChatGPT is not a good tool!
Yes it can save time, but what would you do with the extra time? and surely there are other ways of saving that time. Don't use it to help format emails, there are human made email templates available online, don't use it to help find quotes, you can just search them up yourself on a normal search engine, whatever ChatGPT does for you, there will be an honest hardworking person willing and able to do for you, please go to them instead. If ChatGPT saves you fifteen minutes a day is that really worth it? and if it saves more time then what do you do with that extra time? scroll tiktok? watch netflix? you are not saving time you are wasting your life!

I still don't understand how the hell the common person finds an actual use for AI
Need some information? Google it! It's better to go to Wikipedia and double check with another site than triple check the lies AI tells.
Want to read fanfic? Go to ao3 and use the tag system to find exactly what you're looking for. If you don't, then just write it!! Or even look for ask blogs and collaborate with other people to make something. Why would you write and post generic stuff that anyone could make? Even if you actually give it a good idea, AI will just spit out cliche after cliche. Soulless. It won't take into account your fandom experience and your interpretation of the character. It WILL completely miss nunce and detail.
Need a resume of an article or the ~100 pages your professor asked you to read? Well, you'll just have to actually learn how to effectively skim through academic texts and pluck relevant information. This is the stuff your professor wants from you when he assigns this readings. Again, AI WILL make shit up.
Need help reviewing a subject? There's hundreds of quizzes, resources, videos and everything online, covering a plethora of subjects. "Oh, but it's a very specific academic niche" MAKE STUDY GROUPS.
Need help planning a class? Again, RESSOURCES ONLINE BY DIFFERENT TEACHERS ALL AROUND THE WORLD. That actually have real experience!!!
Every time I listen to people around me when they say to use AI I end up wasting my time. I spend time creating and editing my prompt and in the end it spits out useless blorbs that don't actually help me at all.
And don't even get me started in AI pictures. In the end they result in stuff that you could find anywhere in the internet, but always with something off, be it perspective, lighting, anatomy, colors or DETAILS. You want to see art from your ship? SEARCH THE AMAZING FANARTISTS.
In the end people need to remember that the internet is a powerful tool for human connection and instead of turning to a machine that's been advertised as helpful, we should go back to forums and communities. Want help writing or finding a fic? Talk to people on the Fandom!! Want academic resources? Talk to people on specific forums. Ask for help. Connect. The essence of our amazing feats is human connection.

playing lego horizon has unlocked some old bitter feelings about the sequel in me that i just remembered i never jot down. i think i'm now able to put words to why i never really bonded with the whole beta plotline:
it's partly because in the lead-up to forbidden west's release, i was crossing my fingers that future twists would not come in the form of "more clones!!" and that's exactly what they did (a post for another time)
it's also partly because despite loving sister stories, i didn't find aloy and beta's relationship very compelling or earned
it's also partly because well, this is going to sound cheap, but i do think beta's introduction removes aloy's uniqueness in the plot somewhat. if there's another clone of elisabet sobeck out there in close proximity to the zero dawn facilities who is willing and able to rebuild gaia, then why is aloy still our protagonist, and why isn't this beta's story of starting as a scared girl in space, then rebelling against her masters and learning to rebuild a planet with nothing but the clothes on her back? that game sounds awesome, actually!
obviously, the answer to that question is because this is an action game, and we need a protagonist who can climb rocks and shoot things. aloy was specifically raised to do that. beta's introduction does not threaten aloy in this regard, and it's not like aloy is less of a protagonist now that beta's here... except i do think that beta's inclusion removes something, or has the potential to remove a role that aloy has. i've realized that one of my fears for h3 is that beta will become mission control, which will result in this juxtaposition: aloy is the tough action hero who eats machines for breakfast, and beta is the "nerdy one" who sits back at base and figures out shit that aloy used to, and is still, capable of figuring out on her own.
i think guerrilla wants me to believe beta's girl-in-the-chair role should actually be seen as a good thing, because aloy needs friends to help her save the world and you don't want to spend significant game time on aloy doing coding minigames. but i fear that to make this shift of "aloy doer, beta thinker," they will minimize aloy's intelligence, or maybe her opportunities to demonstrate it, to instead promote engineering and programming as skills that beta brings to the team.
it might be an unfounded fear, because aloy is still certainly smart in fw and is capable of keeping up with tech talk. she spends her life practically living in machine guts and knows them mechanically inside and out. i just think how in zd, they showed how smart aloy is about other things rather subtly: learning to use a focus alone (and presumably learning to read with it too--since the nora rely on oral tradition, rost couldn't have taught her!), figuring out the planet is a sphere all on her own, etc. in fw, she should be even smarter than she was in zd after studying all this old world knowledge alone, but instead we have aloy going "that's too much math :(" when gaia explains the distance the odyssey traveled. now enter beta, who was specifically trained to do this role aloy had thought she would do alone, bring gaia back online--and we know the zeniths' tech is way better than what aloy has access to. beta is much better qualified to fully restore gaia and wrangle hephaestus's runaway code than aloy. the setup for guerrilla to assign roles to the girls is right there, and i'm worried it will pigeonhole them both.
to be clear, i don't think they'll make aloy downright stupid (unless it comes to her struggling with emotional intelligence, which is an actual flaw), and she is able to keep up with various characters' tech talk in fw, which calms this fear somewhat. but overall it's just another niggling concern i have that makes me go :/ when i wonder what was driving them to include beta in this story at all.

broke the 11th commandment on a post and saw people arguing 'don't you want to get the most out of those student loans?' as a reason for not using the environment-razing bullshit generators on coursework... and I think that student debt and gen-AI are problems that contribute to each other.
As baffling as I find it that students who are afraid of failing are turning to tools with a ~60% inaccuracy rate--a worse outcome than literally flipping a coin, without even the cursory amount of mental exercise required to come up with two options to assign to heads or tails--their expressed motivation is nonetheless because they think it will help them avoid failure. Even though failure is one of the main avenues of learning, students are in a position where they literally, financially, can't afford to, so if they can't figure something out they go online and look for the answers.
Public universities used to be free in the US; student debt is largely a top-down reaction against student free speech, introduced in the 1970s to add a sunk-cost deterrent to the threat of expulsion (initially used against students protesting the Vietnam War; now used against students who vocally oppose apartheid and the genocide against Palestinians.) And even if you're not kicked out for having a conscience too loudly, you can still end up dropping out... and the debt you incurred trying to chase an education will still follow you for the rest of your life. And the longer you struggle, the higher it goes.
I think a lot of this gen-AI hype, along with the insurmountable fear of failure to the point that people are turning to literal machines to replace their own thinking, would dry up in a hurry if the punitive financial aspect were removed from avenues of higher education. If people were allowed to fail and retry things and take their time, I really think that would take away a lot of the demand for shitty garbage shortcuts.

Common Mistakes Which Students Make in R Homework
Are you struggling with your R homework and seeking guidance on how to improve? Many students face challenges when dealing with R programming assignments. In this post, we'll discuss common mistakes students make in their R homework and provide tips on how to overcome them. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced R user, understanding these pitfalls will help you write your R homework more efficiently.
The Importance of Writing My R Homework Correctly
R programming language is widely used in statistics, data analysis, and machine learning. Properly completing R homework is crucial for mastering these skills and achieving academic success. Let's explore the common mistakes students often make and how to avoid them.
Lack of Understanding the Assignment
One prevalent mistake is starting your R homework without a clear understanding of the assignment. Before diving in, take the time to thoroughly read and comprehend the requirements. This will ensure you don't waste time on irrelevant tasks and can focus on the key objectives.
Inefficient Code Organization
Messy and disorganized code is a common pitfall. When writing R code, structure and organization matter. Use meaningful variable names, comment your code, and break it into logical sections. This not only makes your work more readable but also helps you and others understand the logic behind each step.
Ignoring Proper Documentation
Documentation is often overlooked but is crucial in R programming. Make it a habit to document your code, explaining the purpose of each function and variable. This not only helps you understand your code later but also assists others who may review or use your work.
Neglecting Error Handling
Every coder encounters errors, and R programming is no exception. Ignoring error handling can lead to frustration and wasted time. Learn to anticipate and handle errors effectively to streamline your coding process.
Not Seeking Help When Needed
Don't hesitate to seek help when you're stuck. Whether it's from your instructor, classmates, or online resources, getting assistance can help you overcome challenges and gain a deeper understanding of R programming.
The Role of "Write My R Homework" Services
If you find yourself consistently struggling with your R homework, consider exploring professional services that specialize in "write my R homework." These services can provide valuable insights, examples, and assistance, helping you improve your skills and academic performance.
Conclusion:
Mastering R programming requires practice, patience, and a proactive approach to learning. By avoiding common mistakes, organizing your code efficiently, and seeking help when needed, you can write your R homework like a pro. Remember, success in R programming is achievable with dedication and the right mindset.

SEPTEMBER 12th
Today was my birthday. I would have gone out somewhere to eat if it weren't for the terribly polluted air. It was rotten a year ago, but things have only gotten worse. (No thanks to those wildfires earlier in July.) I'm sick of this unbreathable air, and the only birthday present I really want is for the air to become clean again.
I was finally able to redesign certain characters. The new designs are far from finished. So you'll have to wait to see which characters got the facelift they needed.
While playing Pokémon Violet, I battled against a few people online and tried to earn marks for some of my newer Pokémon.
Tumblr media
If he's that big, why didn't you give him a Jumbo Mark?
After I failed to give my Pokémon any marks, I went to the Pokémon Center to see Nurse Joy congratulate me on my birthday.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The banner was a nice touch.
After studying for a bit, I returned to Pokémon Violet to catch a Pokémon with a Destiny Mark. There were a lot of great candidates. But I eventually chose a Tinkatink.
Tumblr media
She's not shiny. But she's good enough for me.
SEPTEMBER 13th
Aside from all the gifts I received yesterday, one of my later ones was a ticket to Kitakami.
Later in the afternoon, I first went to Pokémon HOME to update Umbre's moveset after I heard that Umbreon was able to learn Toxic again. Thankfully, Umbre already knew that move, so I helped him remember it.
Tumblr media
Now he can actually stand a chance against Paldea's worst.
I got caught up in battling others with my newly improved Pokémon. It wasn't until after my second match that I remembered to dash off to Uva Academy.
Tumblr media
I wouldn't say it was THAT soon. I've only been in this country for half a year.
Jacq tells me that going to Kitakami will allow me to see new Pokémon (who aren't that new as I've already seen them all before) and that I should have fun with it. Another thing he told me was that he already got my mom's permission to come along.
Tumblr media
How they never told me about this, I have no idea.
Also, Blueberry Academy has roots in Unova.
Tumblr media
There's also a lot of Unova Pokémon in Kitakami too. If that's not a hint at remakes for Black and White, I don't know what is.
Briar presents herself as the descendant of the Violet Book author and shares the completed versions of the pages we saw in Professor Turo's research facilities, proving that my hypothesis was correct.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sadly, we won't get to see Terapogos for another few months.
Before I knew it, I was finally in Kitakami County.
Tumblr media
And I've already made some progress on the new Pokédex. (I'll fill it up some more later.)
Not all was well in this country, as this one girl didn't want me on her turf.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Naturally, I taught her a lesson through a Pokémon battle. (While also learning that, yes, Poltchageist is part-Grass.)
Like every other rival, she acted like a sore loser.
Tumblr media
But then again, I was the one who had 5 Pokémon that were at a higher level than hers.
Sometime after I was settled in at the community center, I was given my first assignment while learning abroad.
Tumblr media
I wanted to get to the first one. But I was too busy exploring the town for treasure.
Tumblr media
This might be the most unenthusiastic Joy I've ever seen. She's like one of those people who act poorly while on the job because they're stuck with it and have nowhere better to look for a paycheck. Which would be reasonable if this weren't a Pokémon Center.
Tumblr media
At least she has the courtesy to stay off her cell phone while operating the machine. Speaking of which...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why didn't they have a feature like this from the beginning? The TM Machine also had new TMs available for creation. But I didn't need them at the moment.
I eventually met this woman named Perrin.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was going to wonder why someone like her has a Hisuian Growlithe. But considering everyone else fights with Ursaluna and Hisuian Arcanine, I'm just going to forget it and move on.
Tumblr media
I'm more careful in real life.
Tumblr media
A goal I'm sure will probably take months to complete. (If I didn't have any of those Pokémon in other games.)
SEPTEMBER 15th
I was worried about my performance in school. But my friends told me I was doing a great job and I needed to calm down. I didn't have any school today, which meant I could focus on celebrating the 5th anniversary of Pokémon Pocket Web Comics before getting some sleep.
The air was getting a bit chilly today. It was the perfect sign fall was right around the corner. In a few days, all of my current problems will be no more. (For a while, anyway.)
In Pokémon Violet, I finally made my way to the first signboard. Surprisingly, despite only taking me two days to reach, Kieran didn't beat me to it.
Tumblr media
It's almost as if it could be a Pokémon.
Tumblr media
It's too bad I didn't get a badge for this photo. This screen feels incomplete without one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm hoping that Miraidon will learn a new technique soon. Also, I haven't heard Pokémon be referred to as Kaiju since the first games were still in development.

Washing my new pants and I've run into the same problem with EVERY pair of pants.
Too big in the waist, too tight in the hip.
-
I discovered that Walgreen's is currently mired in an anti-discrimination lawsuit (specifically in California) and I do tick a bunch of the "equal-opportunity" boxes.
female
disabled
veteran
over 40
It's possible corporate's application algo flagged me as a diversity hire.
I've also learned that many, many stores are being closed. There are two Walgreen's, here, and two CVS. There used to be a Rite Aid but it was replaced by the second Walgreen's. Apparently CVS and Rite Aid are closing a lot of locations, too.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a list online that I can look at to see if this store is being closed. That would be alright, really. I would have a few months of work and income, insurance for a little while, and then a totally neutral reason for no longer working there.
-
That's kind of weird to me that stores are closing because stocks went down after being high during the height of the pandemic. They're probably still making more money than they did pre-pandemic but it's less than they were making during, so the stores are less valuable and closing, taking all those jobs with them.
Stocks are fucking weird, man.
Looking at the job description and it's basically Do Everything.

learn to digitizing your embroidey designs
Tumblr media
From Sketch to Stitch: A Comprehensive Guide to Digitizing Your Embroidery Designs
The world of embroidery has embraced the digital age, allowing you to transform your own unique designs into stunning stitched masterpieces. But how do you bridge the gap between a simple vector graphic and a complex stitching pattern? This comprehensive guide, crafted with 2500 words, will teach you the art of digitizing your embroidery designs, from software choices to stitch considerations and finishing touches. Before We Embark: Understanding SVGs and Embroidery Files Scalable Vector Graphics (SVGs): These text-based descriptions of images offer infinite scalability, making them perfect for digital design. Embroidery files: These contain specific instructions for your machine, including stitch types, colors, and placement (DST, EXP, JEF, PES formats are common). Step 1: Choosing the Right Software Consider these factors when selecting your digitizing software: Skill Level: Are you a beginner or an experienced digitizer? Some programs cater to novice users, while others offer advanced features. Budget: Free and paid options exist, each with varying capabilities and functionalities. Compatibility: Ensure the software outputs files compatible with your embroidery machine. Here are some popular choices: Free: Inkscape: A free vector graphics editor with the Ink/Stitch plugin for basic digitizing. Sewing & Embroidery Software (SERF): Free software with limited but beginner-friendly digitizing features. Paid: Wilcom Embroidery Studio: Offers powerful tools for advanced digitizing and editing. Embrilliance Enthusiast: User-friendly software with various features at a good price point. Brother PE Design: Ideal for beginners with Brother embroidery machines. Step 2: Preparing Your SVG Simplify the design: Remove unnecessary details or intricate lines that might not translate well to embroidery. Optimize colors: Limit your color palette to what your machine can handle (usually 6-12 colors). Convert to paths: Ensure all elements in your SVG are outlines (paths) for proper stitching. Step 3: Importing and Converting Import your cleaned-up SVG into your chosen software. Follow the software's specific instructions for converting to an embroidery file. This typically involves: Choosing stitch types: Select appropriate stitches for different parts of your design (satin stitch for filling, backstitch for outlines, etc.). Setting stitch parameters: Adjust stitch density, length, and direction for desired effects. Color mapping: Assign thread colors to different parts of your design. Step 4: Digitizing Tweaks and Adjustments Preview and test: Most software allows you to preview your design on a virtual embroidery machine. Check for stitching issues and adjust paths or settings if needed. Refine stitch types and parameters: Experiment with different stitch combinations to achieve the desired look and texture. Consider thread types and colors: Choose thread that complements your fabric and design aesthetic. Step 5: Export and Embroider! Once you're happy with your design, export it in a file format compatible with your embroidery machine. Transfer the file to your machine and prepare your fabric and thread. It's finally time to see your creation come to life! Embroider your design, following your machine's instructions. Bonus Tips for Success: Start simple: Begin with basic shapes and designs to get comfortable with the conversion process. Practice digitizing: The more you experiment, the better you'll understand how different stitches and settings affect your final outcome. Join online communities: Connect with other embroidery enthusiasts for tips, advice, and inspiration. Don't be afraid to ask for help: If you get stuck, consult software manuals, online tutorials, or seek assistance from experienced digitizers. Remember, with a little practice and this guide as your compass, you'll be well on your way to transforming your SVG dreams into beautiful embroidered realities! What are the best thesis writing services?
Let’s be honest—writing a thesis can feel like you’re carrying the weight of the world. Between research, writing, citations, formatting, and deadlines, it’s easy to feel lost or overwhelmed. That’s exactly why thesis writing services exist—to take some of that pressure off your shoulders and help you submit something that you’re actually proud of.
But not all services are created equal.
Some promise the moon and deliver recycled content. Others overcharge and ghost you when you ask for revisions. So how do you find a thesis writing service that’s actually worth your time and money?
Let’s break it down.
🥇 The Ones That Actually Deliver
You want real academic support—not just a writer who rephrases Wikipedia. That’s why services built by subject experts and academic professionals stand out. They know what your university expects and they’ve helped hundreds of students just like you.
Let’s talk about three of them.
1. All Homework Assignments
Imagine having someone who helps you pick the right topic, guides you through your literature review, runs your data analysis, and even formats your document the way your university wants it. That’s what All Homework Assignments is all about.
It’s best for students in management, nursing, education, psychology, and general academic fields. And yes, they’re super responsive—WhatsApp support is available 24/7, so you’re never left hanging.
Tumblr media
2. Programming Online Help
Now, if your thesis involves coding, simulations, or anything technical, this is your go-to team.
Whether you’re working on a machine learning model in Python, building a Java-based project, or writing a CS dissertation, they’ve got the technical and academic skills to bring your vision to life. They don’t just help you write the thesis—they help you build it too.
3. Statistic Homework Tutors
Doing a thesis that’s heavy on numbers? Maybe you're analyzing survey results, running regressions, or testing hypotheses. That’s where Statistic Homework Tutors shine.
From SPSS to STATA to R, they handle the stats side so you don’t have to sweat over it. Great for students in economics, public health, finance, psychology, and other research-focused areas.
🚀 Why These Services Stand Out
Here’s what sets them apart from the random “write my thesis in 24 hours” sites you see floating around:
You work with real academic experts
Your work is 100% plagiarism-free
You get help tailored to your specific subject and topic
You can ask for revisions (without being ghosted)
And most importantly—you’re not treated like just another order
They’re not the cheapest in the world, but they’re student-budget friendly, and what you get in return is actual peace of mind.
⚠️ Quick Tip Before You Choose Any Service
Ask these three questions:
Will I be able to communicate directly with the writer?
Can I see samples or get updates along the way?
What’s the policy on revisions or refunds?
If the answer is “yes” to all three, you’re probably in good hands.
🎯 Final Thought: Your Thesis Deserves the Best
You’ve worked hard to get this far in your academic journey. Don’t let a rushed or subpar thesis hold you back. Whether you're short on time, stuck on stats, or just need help getting organized, these services are here to back you up—not just complete an order.
So breathe easy. Support is out there—and it’s better than you think.
